Summary
The Department of History at North Carolina State University wanted to get out of the academic realm of corporate lackluster template style for their website. NC State History needed to increase awareness to prospective students as well as to encourage current students and faculty to use their site on a regular basis. I got to work on the visual design for this project. I went with a historical thematic approach, heavy on dated textures. The style helped bring out the mood of what this department was trying to communicate.
